Make your bridal shower or bachelorette party especially memorable with one of these three activities that get everyone involved.

1. Try a private party at Hipcooks on North Williams Avenue in Portland, where you and up to 13 guests can create a gourmet feast from scratch. Menus to choose from range from French to Italian to Thai or even a “cocktail” theme.

2. If you’re feeling especially sassy, Vega Dance Lab, located in a warehouse in industrial Southeast Portland, offers strip-teasey dance classes among their other traditional options.

3. Portland also boasts some excellent improvisational theatre groups, some of which you can find at the Funhouse Lounge in Southeast Portland, where some shows have been known to drag audience members out of their chairs and onto the stage with the players for good-natured shenanigans.
