Home Sweet Home
When your parents purchase the property next to a gorgeous vineyard, there’s an easy answer to the question of where you’ll get married. This was the case for bride Emily Livingstone when she was planning her wedding to Hugh McBride. Their nuptials took place at La Bastide in Oregon’s wine country, a country estate recently purchased by her parents. With stunning views of rolling hills all around, this late-summer wedding couldn’t have taken place in a better spot. Every element of the wedding came together to create an elegant and romantic celebration.

Let Them Eat Cake
One of the many focal points of the wedding was a three-tiered cake. Delivering a rustic look ornamented with elaborate rose confections, Dream Cakes’ creation embodied the wedding’s style perfectly. Tall trees, bagpipe music, the golden hour, blush hues and a dance floor set up beneath the sky all converged to cause sparks to fly.
