Benjamin Edwards Photography: Your Wedding Day Secret Weapon
Blogs

When it comes to a wedding day, one of the biggest investments is choosing a fabulous photographer: one that captures moments you can relive over and over again. From experience, a photographer that knows what their doing will make tear-inducing memories -- the same happiness you felt on your wedding day can be relived.
Recently, the Oregon Bride Team came across a wedding photographer. Thirty minutes went by and we still had our jaws on the floor. There's something to be said about original, creative men like Benjamin Edwards when you can look at his work and say, he loves his job.
Luckily, Michael and Drea picked the right man and woman (did I mention Benjamin and his wife work together?) to photograph their wedding day when they married at the House on the Metolius September 17, 2011. The colors aside from the luxuriously green venue were brown and burnt orange. Drea remembers, "The chairs were set just so. The lights drapped through the trees. My old suitcases and family antiques set the tone at the sign-in table. The window frames were swaying in the breeze. Down the aisle were little flag banners I made that led to two amazing floral arrangements."
After stepping into her wedding dress, and surrounded by her family. I laughed reading her description as she mentioned her husband and her have a "Don't look at me!" phrase they say when they cry. Drea says, "It was lots of craphing. That's crying, and laughing".
After the bride and groom took their first looks at each other, they headed to take pictures, which Drea says Benjamin and his team captured her favorite shots.
"When Benjamin sent me the pictures I felt like it was the big day all over again. I knew he was talented before even meeting him. His style captures a different part of the moment. Things you feel like you might have missed. I cried and laughed and cried some more. The photography was one of the most important parts. I will share with friends and family for years to come. He and his crew really took care of us like family. I feel like I gained 3 friends that day. And they shared in making the most important day of our lives the very best that it could be. I am forever thankful to them."
