Daniel Stark Photography

If you're up-to-date in the wedding business -- you probably swooned over Daniel Stark's feature in Style Me Pretty. The second we came across his online portfolio we knew we'd pass up an opportunity by not contacting him.

After seeing these gorgeous photos Daniel sent over to the Oregon Bride Team: we wanted the inside scoop. So after emailing the gorgeous bride, Paige, we weren't shocked to hear that they felt like their wedding photos popped straight out of a magazine.

Rocking an aqua Balenciaga cocktail dress, Paige looked Portland-chic on her wedding day. The two lovebirds wed at Mt. Tabor park: right in the center of their neighborhood, and where they spent lots of time together. Community oriented, Paige and Gregg were married by a childhood friend -- Gregg's buddy since fourth grade. To Paige, that's what the day was all about. The ones who loved them most.

Instead of a traditional bridal party, the bride and groom requested the guests of the ceremony either share a reading or participate in another way. Gregg's nieces stole the show as quite possibly the cutest flower girls in the history of weddings. (See photo below)

As the ceremony ended, those celebrating Paige and Gregg headed to the EcoTrust Building in the Pearl District for reception fun.

Paige remembers, "When people arrived at the reception venue we had family wedding photos set up for guests to view, and a crossword puzzle about Gregg and I out on the tables. My dad gave an amazing toast which was the one event of the day that made me cry. Another great moment was when Gregg's friend who married us took the entire wedding into a separate banquet hall for a Power Point Presentation/Toast that included hilarious pictures and stories."

Paige is over the moon about her wedding photos, and tells us:

"I am picky about photography. When it came to documenting my wedding, I knew I didn't want stacks of traditional posed shots -- I wanted something that took my breath away and truly captured my husband and I as individuals. Daniel's photojournalistic style fit that perfectly. He caught all the important moments, but also all the little spontaneous moments, and the details of the day that I wanted to remember. Plus, he made Gregg and I look like we leaped out of a magazine, and I love how stunning the pictures are. They still take my breath away. They aren't just wedding pictures, they are truly works of art."
