Using vintage and salvaged décor is one of the best ways to add a unique spin to your wedding without breaking the bank or creating a mass of unnecessary waste (see here for more eco-friendly ideas). But what if you don't have time to treasure hunt in the trash bin? While half the fun is scouring vintage shops, architectural salvage warehouses and yard sales, the hours and dollars can add up. So we're excited to see three new vintage rental companies that have done the work for you, offering a library of charming pieces to choose from. Commonwealth Rentals, a new Portland company (pictured above), and Marigold Vintage Event Rentals in Grants Pass have everything from cutlery to couches. Think velvet tufted chairs, antique steamer trunks, and perfecly worn wooden vanities. We’re also excited about Seek the Unique’s new rentals of their incredible vintage finds, coming in April. For now, scour everything from wooden crates and antlers to colored sea glass vases and vintage crystal chandeliers at their Southeast Portland shop.
