Portland Meets Hawaii Wedding Inspiration

We often see Oregon weddings or styled shoots inspired by another city or country, but the talented team behind this styled shoot took it to the next step - it was actually photographed in Hawaii. But here's the catch - it features vendors from Hawaii and Oregon! Portland designer Tie that Binds created the invitation suite consisting of deep ocean blues and tropical yellows, which was complemented by soft blush and peach florals by Oahu-based designer Designs by Hemingway. There's even an amazing, aqua gown by Portland designer Claire La Faye! Keep scrolling to see all the details and head to the bottom of the page for a note from the photographer.

From the photographer:

"With destination weddings on the rise, we wanted to capture the concept of bringing two worlds together in one artistic tableau. Artists separated by an ocean came together to form this 'Portland meets Hawaii' wedding inspiration. Particularly designed for every destination bride who wants to bring some personal home-town flair to her tropical soiree.

One of my favorite details, the steal-worthy tequila favors, were inspired by the once profusion of fresh coconut on the island and bottled by a local Portland brewer."
