Seaside Romance Inspiration Shoot

With nothing but dreary skies in the foreseeable future, some light and airy beachside inspiration was in order. This shoot, styled by Heirbloom Floral, combines rustic touches, like antique candelabras and vintage trunks, with the soft femininity of a billowy peony-and-blush gown and a spring-y, rose-studded bouquet. Whitewashed accents like a simple three-tier cake adorned with a single strand of foliage, a granny-chic crochet tablecloth and scattered seashells infuse the overall aesthetic with a trendy minimalist look while balancing out the statement elements. From the coordinator and floral designer, Kathryn of Heirbloom Floral:

"One of the most romantic and intimate places to get married will always be by the ocean shore. It creates a beautiful and natural setting while bringing a sense of free spirit to the soul. I chose Cannon Beach to highlight the perfect wedding destination for the nature-loving, adventurous bride. The simplicity of our shoot allowed each element to truly shine. Ivy and Gold Photography did an exceptional job at capturing our bride’s personality as well as our intimate table setting. The bridal bouquet consisted of a soft, romantic color palette of white hydrangea, pale pink garden roses, anemones, and silver dollar eucalyptus. I also created a lush floral garland that was used throughout our shoot in fun and unexpected ways. Floral design and styling are my two passions and I was so blessed to work with talented vendors that were able to use my inspiration and produce something beyond my expectations."
