Kelsey Madden and Tyler Scotch met on Kelsey's first night of her freshman year at Oregon State, and despite being in touch the whole time, they didn't start dating until a month before their graduation. Three years later, Tyler proposed at one of their favorite spots on the Deschutes River in Sunriver, Oregon.
Staying true to their OSU history, the couple envisioned a timeless and elegant celebration accented with sweet, little details from their alma mater. They began with a traditional ceremony in the historic St. Patrick Catholic Church. Kelsey charmed the crowd in her sleek Vera Wang gown paired with nude Louboutin pumps and a long veil. Afterwards, the newlywed's hopped into Kelsey's family's classic car for their trip to the reception at the Sentinel Hotel. On the back of the car was a suitcase decked in stickers from their favorite travels. The ballroom at the Sentinel Hotel was embellished with white florals, and a luxurious hydrangea floral runner graced the head table. A simple yet ravishing tiered cake was delicately adorned in layers of white roses. And, to commemorate their college romance, they incorporated a Benny the Beaver ice sculpture and custom OSU cookies with every escort card.
