Do you offer special group room rates for weddings? We offer a seasonal discount for wedding guests that can be booked online or by contacting the hotel directly. Call 503.224.3293 for details. Is there a minimum or maximum number of rooms that you can hold for a wedding? Yes, although we do not currently require contracts with a performance guarantee, we do ask for at least 10 or more peak rooms for the wedding guests. When do you have to release any held rooms that will not be used? All guestrooms are based on availability and the special discount rate is “cut-off” thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Do you offer a complimentary room for the bride and groom or anything special for wedding bookings? Yes, if the wedding party has twenty (20) or more total room nights consumed, the bride and groom earn a free night that they can us now or have a gift certificate issued for the future (e.g. anniversary). What type of amenities do you offer (swimming pool, fitness area, continental breakfast)? The Mark Spencer Hotel provides more complimentary amenities than other downtown Portland hotel including continental breakfast, 24/7 espresso/specialty coffees, Wi-Fi, NY Times, afternoon tea and cookies and evening wine reception. Is there adequate parking available for overnight guests? Is there a cost for parking? Yes, the hotel has underground garage parking and a flat surface lot (for larger or taller vehicles). Self parking is available for a fee including in/out privileges. Do you offer shuttle service to the ceremony and back from the reception? No, we do not offer any ground transportation, however we can put guests in touch with a variety of ground transportation providers. Is there anything else you would like me to know?
