What is your style of photography?
Our style is a photojournalistic narrative with unobtrusive, candid shots to capture the emotions and details of your event. We keep it real. Our approach is enhanced with contemporary portraiture and a high-fashion palate, leaving you with beautiful photos that tell your wedding story. We aim to please.
What is your philosophy towards weddings?
We feel honored when we are chosen to photograph a couple's wedding! The goal is to plan ahead with the couple to make sure we are all on the same page on their wedding day. We want to be as unobtrusive as possible and promote a stress-free photography experience for everyone involved...and we want everyone to have fun most of all. We will make suggestions and give our professional guidance and opinions, but we collaborate with the bride and groom to make sure they are doing what they truly want on their wedding day.
What is your price range of services?
Standard packages range from $2300 to $4800, but we often customize packages to fit our clients' needs. We also offer an $1800 starter package for couples who are on a tight budget...they can add products after their wedding day, if desired. Elopements and off-season/midweek weddings are always custom-quoted, as well as destination weddings.
Do you have packages? If so, what do they include?
Wedding packages include coverage by me (the owner, Laura) and one of the members of my incredible team who assist me and photograph the event, offering a second perspective to really give our clients full coverage of their big day. Packages also include an online gallery with all of the final edited images and a slideshow option, a pre-wedding consultation and/or walk-through and timeline. Some packages include the high-resolution digital images supplied on disk, drive, or via download for clients from afar...and albums, coffee table books, canvas prints, enlargements and additional coverage or photo sessions (engagement, bridal, day-after, boudoir, rehearsal dinner.) There are many a la carte options, as well, such as customized photo thank you cards, metallic prints, and framed enlargements.
Do you shoot with an assistant?
Yes, I have an assistant to help me with equipment and organizing group photos, as well as photographing the event from another perspective. It is extremely important to have someone with strong photography skills scheduled to cover the event with me in case of any unseen, last-minute emergencies. I never want to leave a bride and groom without a photographer due to an accident or the like...the second photographer is my security blanket and theirs, as well.
Will you be the one shooting the wedding or do you hire other photographers as well?
I am always the main photographer...and I bring a second photographer/assistant from my reliable team.
Do you shoot digitally or with film or both?
After the wedding, how long until the proofs are ready?
We present a large selection of edited images for a sneak peek within two weeks of the wedding date and all final edited images approximately four weeks after the wedding date.
What are your custom print prices? Are any prints included with the packages?
Some of our packages include prints, some do not. Our a la carte pricing can be supplied upon request.
Special services offered (optional or included):
We also offer the following to enhance your wedding packages: engagement sessions, boudoir photography (our specialty!), bridal and day-after photo sessions, and rehearsal coverage. Destination wedding photography is also an option...we love to travel!
Is there anything else you would like me to know?
New Moon Photography has been in business since 1999. We are professionals...we use professional gear and always have backup equipment. Once we have returned to the office with your images after an event, we back them up more than once. Equipment can fail...so we do not take chances with your memories. More
