Magic Happens
Inspired by a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Megan and Christopher envisioned their perfect venue with tall trees and romantic lighting. They found their perfect setting at FivePine Lodge, which is located 25 miles outside Bend in a sprawling pine forest. They said their vows in a simple nature setting among the trees as their guests watched from rows of pine benches.
Starry, Starry Night
The couple wanted an evening filled with love and whimsy. The chose to skip many of the traditional wedding-day events, such as the first dance and the bouquet toss. Instead, the fun-loving twosome opted for an entertaining night of vegan doughnuts, hand pies and local beer mixed with lawn games, dancing under string lights and plenty of laughter—all making for a perfect end-of-summer party.
