Bride Idea: Architectural Bouquet

Trends

Sarah Chrusoskie’s most remarkable accessory during her January 11, 2011, wedding at the Acadian Ballroom in Northeast Portland was not her veil or her jewelry, but her one-of-a-kind flower arrangement. The architectural “bouquet” comprised of strips of white birch woven into rounds, with orange flame callas, lily grass and vandal orchids draped around the interlocking rings was conceptualized by the bride but designed by Adria Sparhawk at Northeast Portland’s Lavish Flora. “She created this amazing art piece with a week’s notice and I could not have been happier!” raves Sarah.
