Bright & Woodsy Early Summer-Themed Floral Inspiration Shoot
I think I can speak for quite a few of us when I say winter’s charm has begun to wear on me. As the holiday season fades into distant memory, twinkle lights and hot cocoa give way to bone-chilling cold and mid-afternoon sunsets, and the only way to make it through the dreariness of a wet Pacific Northwest winter is remembering how magical it is to be here in the warmer months. What better than an all-floral-everything-themed, spring-y inspiration shoot to serve as that reminder? Whether surrounded by cascading petals or donning an updo adorned with delicate blossoms, the models in this shoot look like wood nymphs caught frolicking in their natural habitat. Keep scrolling to see it all, and stay tuned for a DIY tutorial on how to make your own gorgeous flower-filled frame.
From Katie Davis, owner of Ponderosa & Thyme:
"It was delightful to dream up a shoot inspired by the flowers of May and June. The variety and hues for flowers available locally are unparalleled during this season; and the ways you can use them are endless! We were very fortunate to collaborate with Eugene Pavlov for photography, Beth Level (Beth Level Artistry) on makeup and Alla Pavlov for hair. It was super inspiring to see how these artists interpreted the “Early Summer” theme."
