It’s hard to be humble in Oregon. We are set apart in a hub of lush green forestry, raging rivers, swaying hillsides and natural beauty. Megan Ward, from Salem’s Red Pearl Designs, created this custom piece for Oregon Bride magazine that incorporates the natural and urban elements of the state. “As a lifelong Oregonian myself, I think a state-pride invitation provides numerous opportunities to inspire stationery,” she says. Ward suggests other visual elements for an invitation suite, including maps of the couples’ hometowns (real or adopted), native plants or simply utilizing an Oregon-specific color palette. “Sticking to your roots gives you the opportunity to create a truly unique invitation that will show off how Oregon has made an impact on you.”
