firm believer that less is always more. Sometimes all you need is a splash of

“I've always believed in beauty in
simplicity. Some of the greatest inventors and artists in history believed this,
too. The more I thought about it, the more I just had to create an editorial
around this idea. Leonardo da Vinci famously said, "Simplicity is the
ultimate sophistication." Taking cues from the greats, I made sure to
incorporate sketches from Piacasso, simple bread, wine and cheese spreads and an
elegant floral draping on the walls. The color palette was chosen because of its
clean aesthetic and soft appeal. I'll admit, staying simple was a bit more
difficult than I imagined. I had to fight the urge to make it "bigger and
better." With the help of my wonderful creative team, we were able to
accomplish a stunningly simple design concept that allowed the couple to shine
and for the details to evoke movement and whimsy. Remember, it's about the two
of you, your lives together and your future as one. Don't let the bling and
blitz convince you that you need them - you're a diamond just as you are.”
