What began as a gilded autumn-themed wedding on an idyllic Christmas tree farm in the aptly-named town of Pleasant Hill quickly became a bloodbath following the arrival of a band of rogue zombies. After suffering multiple bites, the formerly fresh-faced bride was the primary victim of the attack. Despite the groom’s heroic efforts to save her, she exhibited all the symptoms of zombie infection. However, against all odds, the newlyweds refused to let the carnage ruin their nuptials, and ended the evening sharing handfuls of cake as newly minted man-and-zombie—keep scrolling to see for yourself!

From the photographer, Stevi Sayler:

"In this photo-novella our lovely couple, Ryan and Regi approach the alter to say their vows at their beautiful autumn wedding, only to discover they are not alone! A pack of blood thirsty zombies approaches in the distance from around a corner, they are coming right at them! Thankfully, Ryan is able to get his lovely bride away from the pack before they are completely consumed, but not before our lovely bride Regi, is bitten on the arm! They get away, dodging one final attack only to find that Regi has already started to change and she would quickly be as blood thirsty as the rest of them! Ryan stares into Regi’s lifeless eyes for what he thought was one final glance only to see that she hasn’t fully changed, there is still that spark, still a tiny hint of the girl he once knew and loved. With that sights and that hope, he decides to risk it, to stand by her side and marry the woman he loves, dead or alive."
