Looking for a venue that has all the rustic charm of a working farm but is only a few minutes’ drive from downtown? “We love sharing our venue with people who feel connected to the idea of being around an active farm that isn’t buried in the countryside,” says Gabrielle Rossi of Northeast Portland’s Rossi Farms, a remnant of the city’s farming past. “We’re able to maintain our rural vibe because five continuous generations have maintained our farming traditions as the city has grown around us.” Couples can opt for an outdoor celebration amid the farm’s replica Old West storefronts or host the party inside Rossi’s historic red barn, which still boasts its original wood and beams. Herr’s Family Farm grows seasonal flowers on site, and Rossi notes fresh seasonal produce is also at a couple’s disposal. 3839 NE 122nd Ave., Portland; rossifarms.com
