For their first dance, Shivani and Kunal danced to the Bollywood song "Nazar Laye Na," which talks about a couple's love completing one another. In celebration of their own love, the two lovebirds hosted an extravagant wedding weekend in downtown Portland that drew over 300 guests. At their Sangeet the night before the wedding, radiant colors and food trucks lined the room while family members sang and danced a traditional folk dance. On the wedding day, the groom mounted a white horse and rode to get his bride in a ceremony known as the Baraat. Traditionally, only the groom's guests join the procession, but the festive atmosphere of the day drew the bride's guests to participate, bringing the celebration through downtown Portland, where locals couldn't help but notice the colorful parade.

The ceremony itself had a Garden of Eden theme, followed by a Starry Night-themed reception. White hydrangeas, ocean song lavender roses, white orchids and Picasso calla lilies decorated the evening along with gold linens and soft lighting. Guests dined on traditional Indian sweets as well as kulfi ice cream from Cool Moon's and specialty cupcakes from Sugar Cubed Cakes. Killer Creations captured the fun of the weekend and capped off the evening by sharing the wedding video with everyone in attendance.
