Science meets botanical in this industrial-styled shoot at White Aspen Creative.

With its original hardwood floors, white plaster walls, and classic red bricks, White Aspen Creative set as the backdrop and inspiration for this industrial-styled shoot, designed by The Indigo Bride. A romantic, science-inspired welcome table featuring cinder blocks and white pillar candles mixed with blooming alstroemeria and steel accents provided a greeting point for guests. Three calligraphed signs were displayed on the table, along with an educational botanical book which served as a fresh alternative to the guest book and an escort card display that mimicked an insect specimen box, complete with actual preserved insects and butterflies.

The bride’s stunning gown featured a modern, high neckline and geometric lace design which paired perfectly with the groom’s classic black suit, both provided by Bespoke Bride. The groom's industrial-style silver wedding band and the bride's raw diamond wedding ring from Silverado Jewelry Gallery complimented their elegant vibe. Austin Gale provided hair and makeup, delivering a classic red lip and dramatic cat eye to the bride.

Lined with cinder blocks, bricks, white candles, and blooming paperwhites, the ceremony site featured a suspended installation of wild greenery and white florals, created by The Posie Shoppe. The bride's and flower girl's gold hoop bouquets featuring lush, but simple greenery and blooms complimented the classic-meets-contemporary look. Loose stems of greenery and white florals throughout the space infused a scientific, botanical energy.

Following the intimate nuptials, the couple shared shared a doughnut toast provided by Too Sweet Cakes, and then all were welcomed to the Dogwood Cocktail Cabin, a funky little local place to grab some fabulous, off-beat cocktails. To celebrate, the bride and groom cheers to their union with signature cocktails - hers being a Beetnik, beet infused vodka, ginger and lemon, and his, a classic dirty martini. Of course, cocktail hour would not be complete without spirits and cronuts! Once the cocktail had come to an end, the couple took a quick stroll down to Tin Pan Alley, the perfect spot for some romantic portrait photos.

All reconvened back at White Aspen Creative where they enjoyed a luscious antipasto display from Tate and Tate Catering, full of delicious cheeses and decadent finger foods. Modern furniture rentals from West Coast Event Productions, including gunmetal chairs and urban tables, enhanced the modern warehouse vibe. Lining the head table were planted paperwhites and forced bulbs, which added to the botanical aesthetic, while a palette of black, white, and green accented with clear glass tableware and flatware completed the overall look.

A green marble wedding cake was coupled with skinny, black candles and rested atop a tower of bricks and cinder blocks which was placed with white candles (provided by Heirlooms & Co.), and string of Edison light bulbs. After the cake cutting, the couple headed over to the photo booth for some modern shots to commemorate the wedding. Entomology photography mixed with an industrial clock (supplied by Jubeelee and Abode) created a stunning seating area perfect for photos.
