"Early on in the planning process, Rachel requested that we [Alisha Tkach from For the Love of Floral and Dorotheea Dragomir from Kamea Events] 'surprise her' with the aesthetics of the day," says Dragomir. "We saw a glimpse of the gown she chose and played off of its details when it came to the overall design." That design became a sun-soaked white, gold and mustard color palette with high-end florals and a stark tablescape, both stunning in their simplicity. More important to the couple were the events of the day, which included running to Tillamook first thing in the morning to obtain a marriage certificate, brunch with mimosas and joints and an oceanside first look. The Jewish ceremony was a relaxed affair officiated by the groom's brother and punctuated by the couple's three dogs running around. Finally, the small group enjoyed dinner and vegan desserts at Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa. Music rang through the room and a surprise video from the couple's dating years capped off the night. Says Dragomir, "Rachel and Nate's wedding was a true family affair - so intimate and intentional."
