Coordinated by Samantha Rae Creative, this colorful, vibrant and abstract shoot was inspired by Ironlight, a beautiful and modern space with floor to ceiling windows and gorgeous mountain views. Located in Lake Oswego, the venue offers a blank slate nature allowing any right-brained individual to unhinge their creativity.

Black Thistle Co. produced a series of paper goods featuring artistic splashes of color grounded by black calligraphy. From the invitation suite and place cards that sat on miniature easels, to the conceptual welcome sign and blank canvas that acted as a guest book alternative, attendees were able to experience this art museum-esque wedding as guests and leave their mark as artists.

The bride wore a sophisticated wedding gown to pair with the elegance of the indoor space and then changed into a second dress for the rooftop ceremony, which offered an edgy vibe with sheer fabric and delicate lace details - both by local dress designer, Stephanie Mai. Colorful makeup by Shantilly Makeup Artistry complimented the bride's bold look while hair styled by Makeup By McCweepy for the couple keep them looking sleek and stylish.

Incorporating an explosion of color, Bridge City Blooms crafted an epic bouquet into a work of art, filling it with dried painted florals that truly complimented the overall design. The dried painted blooms were also lined down tablescapes and transformed into abstract shapes that hung on the ceremony backdrop, setting the stage for merriment that would inspire anyone. Bright yellow mod acrylic chairs complimented the statements made throughout the reception space and rooftop while black stoneware, onyx flatware, white linens and turquoise taper candles and napkins all added a bold contrast to the bright setting, all from The Party Place.

The single-tired cake, from Bite Me Cookies & Treats, featured a black base with colorful modern brush strokes that added dimension and made a small but loud statement. However, the largest single statement of the night came from giant abstract painting commissioned by local artist, Therese Murdza. The gorgeous piece, offered a focal point for the reception and pulled together all of the elements within the space.
