I attended a family member's wedding at Abernethy Center this weekend and interacted with staff at the venue for a couple days off and on as we did the rehearsal, made plans and decorated for the bride and groom day of. Ruth, Miranda, the chef and staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of the bride and groom's special day was perfect. They were professional, patient, inviting, capable and always willing to lend a hand no matter what other 20 million things they were attending to behind the scenes.
When the couple's cake topper fell off the cake -through no fault of anyone there- and took some chunks of frosting with it, the onsite chef and Miranda put every effort into smoothing out bad spots, adding fruit and other decorations to minimize the damage. Anyone considering this venue as an option for their wedding would benefit from choosing them. Well done. - Hope R.
Just had our wedding in Abigail's Garden on 08/26/17. The whole thing turned out beautifully! Working with Karissa and Lindsey was excellent. They made it easy and simple. The catering services were able to cater to my families celiacs and created a menu that was not only gluten free, but also DELICIOUS! We got tons of compliments about the space, food and services of the staff. It couldn't of been a more perfect day for us. My husband and I got married on 7.8.17. The staff was amazing!! Michaela was so great during all the changes we had prior to the wedding day. The event coordinator Ruth that day was the best!!! My husband I got married at the Abernethy Center April 9th, 2017 and it was absolutely perfect! We had our ceremony in the chapel and reception in the ballroom. We were even able to use the Veiled Garden for pictures and family time. I can't recommend them enough. The staff was fantastic (extra kudos to Karissa!) and went above and beyond to make our day swoon-worthy. Great communication from beginning to end, yummy food, and a beautiful site.
