Woodland Pendleton Woolen Mills Inspiration Shoot
Local artisan designers are one of Oregon’s many unique treasures, right alongside talented artists and beautiful natural resources and scenery. This inspiration shoot manages to highlight all three! The gorgeous fall backdrop is quintessential Oregon autumn, while the Pendleton blankets and locally-designed clothes by Duchess, Clothier, Tanner Goods and more make for a rustic-chic marriage of classic craft and modern design. The art, of course, lies in the photos themselves! I love the attention to detail paid to the groom’s overall look, where details are often overlooked! The Pendleton theme paired with the woodsy setting makes for a beautiful and attainable rustic aesthetic—keep scrolling to see for yourself!
From the photographer:
"I have been dreaming up this styled wedding shoot for quite some time now. I wanted to find two beautiful models, dress them up like the most stylish bride & groom in some Portland labels that I drool over, put them in a ridiculously awesome location and photograph them looking amazing. So we did just that! This project was an opportunity for me to reach out to some of my Portland fashion icons and see if they had any interest loaning, creating, and in some cases, donating some of their products to the shoot. To my amazement, every single vendor that I contacted agreed to participate in the shoot. I was absolutely blown away by the generosity that some of these huge names showed to my little shoot. We spent an afternoon at Champoeg State Park in St. Paul, Oregon. It was a surprisingly warm and perfect fall day."
