Iron Diamond Media Acquires Bride Media Group
Minneapolis, Minnesota — Iron Diamond Media, owned and operated by Sonja Babich, has acquired the Bride Media Group, comprising six regional bridal brands: Minnesota Bride, California Wedding Day, Seattle Bride, Oregon Bride, Nebraska Wedding Day, and Wisconsin Bride.
This acquisition brings the six brands under one umbrella and is solely focused on showcasing signature weddings and offering newly engaged couples a resource for top-tier wedding vendors.
“We will maintain our brand’s legacy and mission with high-end bridal fashion and styled shoots in addition to editorial content that focuses on trends, offers inspiration and helps guide and educate our readers and followers,” Babich said. “Of course, we’ll continue to connect the dots between our engaged couples and top-tier wedding vendors.”
In purchasing these brands, Iron Diamond Media expects to expand nationally and gain more access to the best vendors in the wedding industry.
Babich, age 34, has been the Group Publisher of the Bride Media Group since 2019. Prior to that, she was Director of Sales and Marketing for Blackberry Ridge Golf Club for eight years, where she planned more than 500 weddings and assisted in daily operations, as well as served and volunteered on multiple boards in the Sartell, Minnesota, community. A native of Sartell, Minnesota, Babich is a graduate of Concordia College–Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and studio art. Her husband, Chris Babich, is Vice President of Finance for Central McGowan in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The couple has two children.
The six brands will remain headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
