Mike Davis and Liz D’Agostino built their life together in Portland, so it was only fitting that they wanted to highlight the Rose City on their wedding day. From the vibrant blooms and foliage at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden to the eclectic vibes of Coopers Hall, their venues showcased the depth of character their home has to offer. The laid-back reception included locally sourced fare, followed by a gourmet s’mores stand. Guests even took home favor bags filled with curated Oregon goodies to commemorate the day.
The couple opted for a first look, which took place in the fully blooming rhododendron garden, a lush oasis located in the Eastmoreland neighborhood of Southeast Portland. After the couple exchanged vows in a short and sweet ceremony in the garden’s fairy-tale Woodland setting, guests then boarded buses to head to the reception at Coopers Hall. Mike and Liz extended the garden theme to their reception décor by featuring lush florals, live ferns and fern garlands with twinkle lights—making the perfect contrast to the venue’s industrial feel.
