Location, Location
Surrounded by Oregon’s famous forests, open skies and golden rolling hills, guests gathered outside Scholls Valley Lodge to watch Alexandra Olson and C.J. Smith say “I do.” An array of white flowers perfectly complemented the property’s rustic landscape and also adorned the arbor built by the bride’s father. The Californian couple was anxious to commit to a venue while planning their destination wedding, and this hidden oasis in wine country proved to be the perfect setting to show their families the enchanted Pacific Northwest wedding they had envisioned.

Stylish Touches
Following the intimate ceremony, happy hour was held on the lodge’s wraparound deck, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the expansive views, sip their Lex on the Beach and Smith ’n’ Sour cocktails, and listen to a pianist performing live. The couple’s creative and whimsical reception featured copper focal points with tasteful dark teal embellishments. After the maid of honor led a flash mob, glow sticks ushered the reception into the late hours under the glistening September stars. The evening concluded with a glowing balloon send-off, symbolizing the beginning of the bride and groom’s bright future ahead.
