Hand-stitched embroidery, and the labor of love involved in its making, is a sentimental match made in heaven for wedding decor. “The little art touches that require a handmade element speak so well to moments like weddings,” says Valerie Senff, wedding and event coordinator for CK Events, who sees heartfelt wedding keepsakes trending. “It’s a thoughtful application for a favor that’s more meaningful than something mass-produced.” Brides are using embroidery hoops and vintage embroidered linens in place settings, stitching something blue inside the hem of their gown and adding a classic monogram to a pocket square. Geometric patterns, clean and straight lines make it modern and simple.”
