Brides all over the world are choosing to wear Australian designer, Grace Loves Lace, on their special day, thanks to the label's authentic handmade designs, luxurious silk and lace fabrics, affordable prices and ethical and sustainable practices.

Disillusioned with the structured, traditional wedding “uniform” that dominates the bridal market, Founder and Creative Director Megan Ziems set out to change the industry. She believed that quality shouldn’t be dictated by a price tag and that a woman shouldn’t be forced to sacrifice style for comfort. She believed the brides of today deserved better than average.

The story of Grace Loves Lace began in 2011. Since then, the brand has shifted the perception of bridal dressing, and the team has been designing gowns with women’s confidence and empowerment in mind — this is the label behind the world’s most-pinned wedding dress!

“The woman we design for is at the core of everything we do. She is effortlessly sophisticated, captivating, down to earth, sexy and authentic,” says Megan.

Handmade in Australia, Grace Loves Lace does not mass produce or outsource its manufacturing. The company prides itself on its attention to detail and craftsmanship – which encompasses all designs, production, quality control and dispatch; each of which is managed carefully in-house.

All of the Grace Loves Lace gowns are made from luxurious, sustainably sourced fabrics. The brand prides itself on using the finest silks, embroideries and trims and upholds its reputation for being the best at what it does.

Each Grace Loves Lace garment is crafted for comfort and movement, with designs originally created by founder Megan and head designer Rosie – all brought to life by the brand’s in-house production team. They have introduced an innovative and unique way of designing and constructing wedding dresses.

“We steer clear of boning or corsetry and opt for ‘stretch’ instead – designing unique silhouettes that allow our brides to move, laugh and dance freely. Our award-winning gowns work with the body, not against it,” says Megan.

The brand also offers an array of veils, accessories, occasion wear and flower girl outfits — consider it your wedding party’s one-stop shop.

More than 80% of Grace Loves Lace gowns are made-to-order, which ensures they never have excess stock going to landfill.

“We keep minimal ready-to-wear stock on hand to ensure what we make, we actually use,” says Megan.

Over the past 10 years, Grace Loves Lace has been committed to Australian sustainable manufacturing, providing pristine workplace conditions, recycling, waste management and carbon offsetting throughout their business practices.

“Despite incredible business growth, we remain true to our values and are dedicated to keeping our bridal manufacturing in Australia,” says Megan.

Brides are also flocking to Grace Loves Lace because of its incredible, award-winning showroom experience.

“Stepping into our luxurious Seattle GRACE showroom is an experience you won’t ever forget. Private rooms, exquisite interiors and our best-in-class one-on-one service allows us to tailor the experience to suit your needs,” says Megan. “Our showrooms are designed to feel like an extension of my very own home, and we want to make you and your guests feel truly welcome and comfortable, which is why we don’t charge for appointments and we say yes to lots of photos.”
