Vintage Forward: Hotel Vintage Gets a Makeover

Hotel Vintage just got a major makeover. The five-star downtown Portland hotel, built in 1892—and adjoining Pazzo Ristorante—recently completed a $16 million renovation. Formerly called Hotel Vintage Plaza, Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland is an homage to Oregon’s wine country, with an interior design that celebrates viniculture in big and small ways.

The game room atop a spiral staircase has a one-of-a-kind wine bottle chandelier, lobby walls are made from cork and wine bottles, and daily wine tastings feature a rotating list of local wineries. Downstairs, away from the hustle of downtown Portland, is an intimate brick and barrel wine cellar fit to host 150 guests for an intimate wedding ceremony. With on-site catering from Pazzo and suites on every floor dedicated to Oregon wineries, this venue is a wine lover’s dream. 422 SW Broadway, Portland
