A bride's bouquet is arguably one of the most important accessories (just behind the wedding ring), and whether the look you're going for is boho chic or elegant and refined, determining which petals match your style and personality is not always an easy task. For those in search of a whimsical, free-spirited vibe, these untamed bouquets bring a freshly gathered effortless beauty to any bridal look.

(Above) A stunning bouquet from Pacific City’s Pacific Coast Floral Design mingles pops of purple with blooms that look freshly plucked. To achieve the dreamy aesthetic, designer Nicole Brookfield chose a mix of both dried and fresh elements, including lavender, purple larkspurs, purple Anastasia chrysanthemums, purple asters, love-in- a-mist, dried strawflowers and lavender-colored stock. $145.

Shades of mauve, blush, pink and cream unite in a sweetly gathered garden bouquet from Northeast Portland’s Botanica Floral Design. Blossoms include garden roses, chocolate Queen Anne’s lace, lisianthuses, gooseneck loosestrife, scabiosas, hellebores, poppies, ferns, daffodils, stock, carnations, Astrantia and geranium foliage. $275.

Portland-based Blüm Floral Design creates a fresh take on the neutral bouquet, pairing pillowy white and cream blooms with rich textures from transparent lunaria and spiky thistles to achieve the utmost whimsy. Other flowers included lilacs, amaranth, bleached ruscuses, garden roses and scabiosas. The loosely gathered bouquet is tied together with velvet and silk ribbon streamers. Average bouquet price, $300.

In a wild, textured study of the color yellow, Portland’s Revel Petals highlights summer yarrow, a native wildflower to Oregon, along with Honey Dijon roses, wild orchids, ranunculus and soft puffs of blooming silver bell eucalyptus. Contrasting the sunshine hues are lavender Stephen Rulo roses, tweedia and unruly delphiniums. All blooms are grown domestically. $220.
