Kiilani Kaaikala and Kyle England celebrated their wedding in style with photos at Jenkins Estate followed by a bright tropical-influenced event at Saint Irene's in Tualatin. The day explored a unique meld of Hawaiian and Pacific Northwest décor, an apt symbol of the unity between the newlyweds that blended each of their cultures. The couple met through overlapping social circles related to their experiences playing volleyball and quickly forged a connection. Kiilani was inspired by classy shades of green, white and champagne paired alongside bold, tropical florals. Her gown featured a boat neck and a classic silhouette for a showstopping look from Brides for a Cause. Bridge City Blooms expanded on the vision created at Saint Irene's, "Palms and ferns danced together in the background while gingers, pincushion proteas, anthuriums and orchids accented the locally grown roses, lilies, dahlias and ranunculus." The space at Saint Irene's explores modernity with monochromatic hues and contemporary geometric designs, something that was a dramatic but welcomed contrast to the island-style florals.

We are so happy we chose to do a First Look and have a sweetheart table to enjoy private moments just between the two of us. Having that time was so precious and helped center our minds and emotions on us rather than a multitude of things that could have been a distraction or stressor.

A wooden arbor crafted by the groom's father set an elegant backdrop for the ceremony and featured photos of the bride and groom on the back. Accented with visually captivating bursts of florals in vibrant hues and varying textures. The reception transformed the ceremony's arbor into a chic frame for the sweetheart table. Bud vases and floating candles adorned tables with white tablecloths and champagne linens, where tropical accents found subtle avenues to elevate the design. The glowing couple optimized their reception time and went in with an organized list for the DJ including groups of friends to call out for photos at specific times, which made for a seamless celebration and no missed photo-ops. Elevated modernity and a refined design captured the attention of the entire guest list and the couple, and the resulting photos by KMT Photos were a true sight to behold.
