"Stylist Lane' Bigsby designed and conceived this Moroccan-inspired, urban-boho shoot based on her love of combining unexpected textures, vintage re-purposing, and the use of rich colors such as plum, burgundy, amber and metallics. Every detail was meticulously planned in keeping with the spirit of the shoot, from the incense wedding favors and custom invitation suite by The City Hippy Studio, to the handcrafted macrame backdrop by Holly Mueller. Some unexpected touches include deconstructed mattress springs turned reception table, use of a vintage guitar as the tablescape focal point and a hand crafted amethyst geode cake topper made of rock candy. Instead of choosing a vintage gown, we opted for a custom designed lace wedding gown and a fluid dolman sleeved reception dress created by Holly Stalder. Turkish rugs, Kilim pillows, exotic lanterns and hand painted stones are combined with the airy neutrality of Urban Studio located in the heart of Portland, Oregon."
